Foi Presidente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e Pesquisa em Ci\u00eancias Sociais (ANPOCS), vice-presidente da SBPC por dois mandatos, membro do Conselho Superior da Capes, editor associado da Encyclopaedia of Globalization (Ed. Routledge) e membro da Comiss\u00e3o T\u00e9cnica da Ordem Nacional do M\u00e9rito Cient\u00edfico (2018-2020). Tem experi\u00eancia na \u00e1rea de Antropologia, com \u00eanfase em Antropologia da Religi\u00e3o, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: campesinato, Amaz\u00f4nia, religi\u00e3o, globaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, ci\u00eancia e sociedade, pol\u00edtica e movimentos sociais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Institui\u00e7\u00f5es<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.org.br\/\">Academia
